The Department of Health Administration trains administrative professionals in hospitals. Students learn skills such as planning and supervising healthcare services, processing payments, and communicating with health insurance companies to provide a complete and satisfying experience for their patients. The duties of a health manager cover a wide range of areas from counseling patients to managing their health care. They train students using hospital IT systems such as OCS, PACS, EMR, and more. Through hands-on training, they will be equipped with the practical skills needed at the hospital. Chunhae University signed an MOU with overseas universities so that students can study abroad and gain a global perspective. Students have the opportunity to become hospital managers as well as hospital coordinators, health insurance appraisers, and health data managers. The graduates are employed as hospital managers and hospital coordinators. During the past 20 years, the graduates achieved high employment rates. Many of them work as successful health administration experts in Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang Province.
