Department of Paramedicine
The Department of Paramedicine trains emergency medical technicians to provide emergency medical care in clinical settings as well as at the scene of an accident . Students can earn major-related BLS, ACLS, and KALS-Provider certifications as well as a bachelor's degree through intensive major courses. The department received first place overall in the national firefighting technology competition. The department ranks highest in the nation as every Choonhae Class 1 emergency rescue technician passed the national certification exam, including one Choonhae student who placed first. Upon graduation, alumni work at university hospitals, emergency medical centers, and regional trauma centers. They also work as firefighters, marine police officers, public health officials, civil servants, noncommissioned officers, officers in large corporations, and airport firefighting and rescue personnel.
