Department of Nursing
Choonhae Nursing Department, proud of its history and tradition, has fostered over 10,000 graduates. Many of them are working all around the world including the United States, Australia and Germany. The 4-year course bachelor’s degree nursing program has received an accreditation from the Korean Accreditation Board of Nursing Education. The nursing program provides students with clinical training that simulates hospital settings as well as field training in hospitals and health clinics. Equipped with these experiences, students participate in working at university hospitals, general hospitals, specialized care facilities and health clinics. Choonhae partners in abroad are the United States, Australia, Canada, and Malaysia. Some programs, designed to help students develop both language and nursing skills in a global settings, make students adapt an increasingly globalized health community. Upon graduation, Choonhae's licensed nursing graduates work as clinical nurses, school nurses, public health officials, evaluators at the National Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, military health officers, fire fighters, professors, and many other positions.
